Seven Fairytale Places to Visit
Spreewald Lübbenau
Called the "Green Venice of Germany," located 81 kilometers southeast of Berlin. This picturesque region has 1,300 kilometers of canals through quaint villages and market towns. See old buildings and wooden bridges. Rent a canoe or hire a ride on a sight seeing boat. See a video tour on the canal here.

German Wines
Not far from Wiesbaden (23km) or Mainz on the Rhine (about 30km) is the fine castle winery of Schloss Vollrads. They make a full range of the wine possible from the Riesling grape, from regular estate wines to trockenbeerenauslese and eiswein (icewine).
